To ensure optimal appearance, durability, and safety of your window perf graphics, please review and follow these guidelines:

Installation

• Professional Installation Recommended: For best results, have your window perf installed by a professional with experience in large-format vinyl graphics.

• Clean Glass Thoroughly: Before installation, the window must be cleaned with a non-ammonia-based cleaner to remove all dust, oils, and residues. Allow to dry completely.

• Temperature Guidelines: Apply graphics in temperatures between 45°F and 90°F (7°C – 32°C). Avoid installation during rain or high humidity.

Post-Installation

• Do Not Roll Down Windows: For vehicle or operable windows, avoid rolling down for at least 24–48 hours to allow adhesive to fully cure.

• Dry Application Only: Window perf is not designed for wet installation. Moisture can compromise adhesive strength and image quality.

• Avoid Trimming Into Gaskets or Seals: Leave a 1/8” – 1/4” margin around rubber seals to prevent lifting and peeling due to window flexing or environmental exposure.

Maintenance & Cleaning

• Gentle Cleaning Only: Clean with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soap. Avoid high-pressure washers, abrasive pads, or strong chemicals.

• Do Not Apply Tint or Laminate After Installation: Additional overlays can reduce visibility and damage the graphic.

Durability & Lifespan

• Exterior Lifespan: Window perf graphics typically last 1–2 years depending on exposure to UV light, weather conditions, and maintenance.

• Fade Consideration: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may result in gradual fading over time. Laminate can be added to extend color life.

Legal and Safety Considerations

• Check Local Regulations: Some municipalities restrict the use of window coverings on storefronts for safety or visibility reasons.

• Maintain Visibility: Window perf allows for one-way visibility—from the inside looking out. Interior lighting at night may reduce this effect.
